Foreign experts discuss bringing water through tunnel to Mulkhow

BOONI: A group of consultants from Turkiye and Bangladesh today visited Mulkhow along with officials of the irrigation department.

According to a statement issued by the district administration of Upper Chitral, the foreign consultants under an international project discussed the possibility of bringing water from Terich valley to Mulkow. 

The visit was to explore ways to construct a 5.2 kilometers tunnel from Shagram to bring water for irrigating a large chunk of barren land in Mulkhow.

Besides, the project would also supply drinking water to the people of Mulkhow.

The visiting team of consultants also held a meeting with the notables of Uthal and Warijun villages and listened to their problems.
