He was sent off by school staff and students with fanfare on Wednesday.

The principal as well as other colleagues appreciated the teacher for his selfless service to the institution.

Apart from academic merit, Muhammad Umar proved his mettle on the administrative side by streamlining the admission process, including conducting admission campaigns and examinations as a superintendent and invigilator.

His students include engineers, army officers and other notables serving in prominent positions across the country.

I feel proud to have served such an institution for many years, Mohammad Umar said and added that he tried to leave an impact on his students

“I have served in the field of education for almost 38 years and it has been an honor for me, I am grateful to my colleagues and my students for honoring me,” he added.
