PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in Chitral and other parts of Malakand Division from January 7 to January 9.
In a statement, the Met Office said a westerly weave was likely to enter northern Balochistan on the evening of Jan 6th and to persist in most parts of the KP province till Monday.
As a result, rain and snowfall was expected in Lower and Upper Chitral and other areas of Malakand Division.
The rain and snowfall may block roads and cause landsliding causing disruption to routine life besides further decreasing the we temperature in the mountainous areas.
