‘Miscreants damaging water pipe along road’
CHITRAL: For many days, water leaking from a pipeline has made the main road at Bakrabad slippery by freezing but the leakage could not be stopped.
In a statement, the office of the deputy commissioner Lower Chitral on Friday said on public complaints Assistant Commissioner Adnan Haider Malooki visited the road and called the contractor to the site.
The contractor told the AC that he had fixed the leakage three times but some miscreants were damaging it again causing the leakage at the same spot.
The AC appealed to the locals to keep an eye on such elements to avoid damages to the road and ensure safety of the travellers.
If water pipeline cannot be maintained without leakage whether technical or miscreance, how could gas pipe line have been maintained in Chitral.
