DCs of Lower, Upper Chitral transferred

PESHAWAR: The deputy commissioners of Lower and Upper Chitral districts have been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division in Peshawar.

Muhammad Anwarul Haq was the DC Lower Chitral and Manzoor Ahmed Afridi of Upper Chitral.

In place of Anwarul Haq, the government has appointed Arshad Qayyum Barki, a grade 18 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), as the DC Lower Chitral.

Muhammad Ali Khan, a grade 18 officer of the Provincial Management Service (PMS), will replace Mr Afridi as the DC Upper Chitral, according to a notification issued by the provincial government.
