PESHAWAR: A delegation of Chitral Fournalists Forum (CJF), led by its president Nadir khawaja, met Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Hidayatur Rehman and discussed issues related to Chitra, says a press release.
Talking to the delegation, the MPA said it was the responsibility of journalists to highlight the issues of Chitral on a priority basis.
He said development works were ongoing in various places of Chitral that he personally visited and monitored from time to time.
“I can do more than that but unfortunately the current government is not giving funds as needed. If funds come from the federal government, more development schemes will be launched in Chitral.”
Nadir Khawaja assured the MPA that the forum as always would work as the voice of the elected representatives of Chitral.
Sir, some are voice of govt officials, some of politicians and most of them are voice of NGOs and nothing left for public issues.
Why should the journalists be the voice of the elected representatives? This question needs explanation.
