Dispute resolution council resolves land row

CHITRAL: A land dispute between two groups in Lotkoh was amicably resolved thanks to the mediation of the Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) of the police.

The council working under the supervision of District Police Officer (DPO) Lower Chitral Nasir Khan is trying its best to ensure speedy justice to the citizens, said a press release issued by the police. 

In the Zaitoor village of Lotkoh, the dispute between Islamuddin, son of Zar Khan, and Sajidur Rehman, son of Bahadar Khan, was amicably resolved by the DRC the other day to the satisfaction of the two sides.

The two sides expressed their full confidence in the terms and conditions put forth by the DRC and described them as based on justice.

Initiatives like this are the need of the hour to save the citizens from court cases. Such initiatives will also help maintain peace and promote harmony in society.
