Bus terminal inaugurated in Chitral town

CHITRAL: A bus terminal of a private transport company was inaugurated in the town by Deputy Commissioner Anwarul Haq on Monday.  

Speaking at a function, the DC said there was a need for a decent and modern terminal in the town from where citizens could avail of transport facilities to their destinations.

He said small and unauthorized bus stations set up in different parts of the town needed to be closed down. He also emphasized on the managing director of the Ada to give some concession in their vehicles for students and people with disabilities. 

Haji Gul Muhammad, the owner and managing director of the new Marvi terminal, told this correspondent that for three years no transport vehicle or driver would be charged any tax in the terminal.—GH Farooqui
