BOONI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday elected its new cabinet for the district of Upper Chitral with Shahzada Sikendarul Mulk as the president.
Other office-bearers elected by the party and their designations are as under:
Alauddin Urfi, general secretary; Abdul Qayyum, senior vice president; Ghulam Mustafa, vice president; Syed Habibullah Shah, vice president; Zulfi Hunar Shah, vice president; Sher Faraz, AGS; Shahabuddin, DGS; Akbaruddin, DGS; Sher Afgan, information secretary; Musa Nabi, finance secretary, and Javed Akhtar, joint secretary.
About 35 PTI workers who had been awarded tickets for the slot of village council chairmen in the local government elections cast their votes to elect the new office-bearers.
A spokesperson for the party said the notification of the new cabinet would be issued soon.
The PTI Upper Chitral was without a cabinet after the expiry of the tenure of the cabinet headed by Rehmat Ghazi Khan.
The party had nominated four coordinators to look after its day to day affairs in the district in the absence of a cabinet.
