Woman injured in powerhouse wall collapse

AYUN: The wall of the water channel of a power station collapsed on Sunday night and its water entered a house and injured a woman.

The gushing water also killed a goat along with chicken and damaged household items in the house of Noor Zaman in the Gahen locality of Ayun, locals told ChitralToday. 

Local people reconstructed the damaged wall of the powerhouse established by the Sarhad Rural Support Program (SRSP) in just one day. 

SRSP Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shahzada Masoodul Mulk visited the house of Noor Zaman and assured the family of compensation for the damages.
