Local govt members administered oath in Lower Chitral

CHITRAL: The local government members elected on March 31, 2022, in the tehsil of Chitral were administered oath on Monday.

Earlier in the day, a function was held in Booni where chairmen of the two tehsil councils, village councils and members directly elected and those on reserved seats in Upper Chitral took oath.

The oath-taking ceremony in Chitral was held in Town Hall in which tehsil council chairman Shahzada Amanur Rehman and other public representatives took oath.

After taking oath, the tehsil council held a session under the chair of the chairman. The members vowed to work for the development of the area.—Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
