Chitrali youth injured in armed attack

ISLAMABAD: A youth from Sonoghur village of Upper Chitral was shot and injured in the rural area of Islamabad on Wednesday, police and friends of the victim told ChitralToday. 

The injured was identified as Ali Asghar, 20, son of Faraz from Sonoghur. They said a few days back, the youth had a quarrel with someone while playing snooker in Bhara Kahu. On Wednesday noon, he was intercepted at Dhoke Mori Chowk of Bhara Kahu and shot in the thigh by some youngsters.

The injured, who bled profusely, was taken to PIMS by his relatives, where doctors advised for blood transfusion.

Police arrived at the crime scene after about 45 minutes and collected evidence to trace the attackers.
