Two bike riders drown into river after collision with datsun

CHITRAL: Two bike riders drowned into the river after a datsun and their motorcycle collided on Chitral-Mastuj road at Kalak near Kuragh in Upper Chitral on Sunday.

Local people identified the victim bike riders as Syed Zulfiqar alias Zulfi Hussain, 18, son of Syed Shah Hussain; and his cousin Syed Naqash Hussain, 16, son of Rabi Hussain; residents of Zait Dok. 

A police official told ChitralToday that the two youngsters were going to their village from Kuragh when their bike (FD-1747) hit the dasun (AF-7208) driven by Sharif Khan, son of Sher Khan of Madak Mulkhow, about five kilometers sought of Kuragh.

Abdul Karim, the prayer leader of a mosque in Kuragh who also belongs to Zait, had seen the two boys going home from Kuragh before the accident. 

Soon after the accident, local people reached the spot and started searching for the victims along the river. Later, police and Rescue 1122 also arrived but had not traced the victims till filing of this report.
