CHITRAL: A woman committed suicide by jumping into the Chitral river near Drosh on Saturday noon.
However, her dead body is yet to be recovered despite efforts being made by Rescue 1122, Lower Chitral.
According to the emergency service, the woman, wife of Wali Muhammad of Badogal village of Drosh, committed suicide due to unknown reasons.
Divers of Rescue 1122 continued searching for the body from Mirkhani to Arandu but without any success.
The Chitral river enters Afghanistan in the south of Arandu.
