Ehsaas program beneficiaries unable to get stipend

ZUPU: Hundreds of women have been kept on waiting for payment of their Ehsaas program stipend due to non-working of 4G internet service in the area, ChitralToday correspondent reports.

The women reached here from different villages yesterday. A few of them were paid the cash yesterday when the internet was working slowly.

However, since this morning, the internet service of Telenor is totally down and the women are waiting outside a government school. 

Many of the women said they reached Zupu after hiring taxis and were unable to return home without payment of the cash.

They called upon the government to ensure uninterpreted distribution of the cash in order to save the beneficiaries from hardship and humiliation.
