Chitral wins inter-district football tournament

PESHAWAR: Chitral won the inter-district Ufone 4G second edition football tournament here on Saturday. In the final match, DFA Chitral beat DFA Mardan by 1-0 goal.

At the end of the match, Ufone chief executive officer (CEO) Mr Ghaznfar, who was the chief guest, handed the winning trophy and cash prize to the winning team captain Muhammad Rasool.

A large number of people were present on the occasion to witness the match.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said sports are very important especially for the youth as these promote their physical and mental development.
