Ayesha Gulalai announces her party’s name

PESHAWAR: Ayesha Gulalai, the founder of PTI Gulalai group on Saturday officially announced her party’s name as Jamaat-e-Sufa.

Speaking at a news conference, she said people were fast losing trust in the ruling PTI as its leadership had completely failed to deliver in every department.

She said the PTI government didn’t provide any single relief to the citizens after coming to power three years ago while prices of essential commodities and petroleum products continued increasing day by day.

“We demand holding of the local government elections without further delay,” she said.

It may be noted that Ms Gulalai left the PTI after amid a flurry of scathing allegations against party chairman Imran Khan and other top party members in 2017.
