Rs120.9 million released for Torkhow road

ISLAMABAD: The government has released Rs120.9 million for the under-construction Booni to Buzund (Torkhow) road.

The amount is transferred from federal to the provincial government as the development grant for the first and second quarters for the period from July to December 2021, according to a notification available with ChitralToday.

The reconstruction and widening of the 35 km road from Booni to Buzund started in March 2019. 

The federal government had released Rs120 million for the project in February 2019. The estimated cost of the project is Rs300 million.
