Transfer of Upper Chitral govt employees to their district demanded

CHITRAL: The All Government Employees Grand Alliance Lower Chitral at a meeting  attended by representatives of political parties of Lower Chitral demanded that  government employees hailing from Upper Chitral and posted in Lower Chitral should be sent to their new district.

The meeting was presided over by former member provincial assembly Molvi Abdur Rehman.

The main objective of the meeting was to consult  leaders of  political and religious parties regarding repatriation of the employees after the bifurcation of Chitral.

They speakers said due to the deployment of employees of Upper Chitral in Lower Chitral district, promotions in some institutions were not possible till 2030 as the employees of Upper Chitral were serving on these posts.

The elected members national and provincial assemblies were criticized for not only failing to resolve the long-standing issue of government employees but also for not attending the important meeting.
The participants unanimously passed a resolution demanding that  the employees of Upper Chitral should be transferred to their own district under Rule 53 of Chapter-II of the Recruitment, Appointment, Seniority and Promotion Rules 1973.   

They also demanded that no more employees from Upper Chitral be transferred to Lower Chitral.

They said the bifurcation of employees should be ensured as it was being exercised in police department and judiciary. Due to the delaying tactics of the education department and the health department, there is resentment and unrest among the employees. 
The resolution called on the heads of all departments to transfer the employees belonging to Upper Chitral to their new district as soon as possible and to call back the employees of Lower Chitral posted in Upper Chitral.

The issue of bifurcation of employees should be resolved on an urgent basis.

President All Teachers Association Qari Muhammad Yousuf, President All Government Employees Grand Alliance Amirul Mulk, Mir Dola Khan Advocate of PPP, former amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Maulvi Jamshed, JUI leader Molvi Abdul Shakoor, PML-N’s Muhammad Kausar Advocate, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Wajihuddin, All Councilors Association President Sajjad Ahmed, Awami National Party President Alhaj Eidul Hussein, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’ Master Amir Ali, Nisar Ahmad and others attended the meeting.
