CHITRAL: Rescue 1122 Lower Chitral retrieved bodies of three of the eight people who died when a land cruiser taxi fell into Yarkhun river near Unauch early on Sunday.
One body was recovered from the riverside in front of Pavur village earlier in the day.
As there is no rescue service in Upper Chitral district, Rescue 1122 staff from Lower Chitral reached the accident site at about 4pm.
The accident had occurred at 2am and local people rescued two persons from atop the wreckage of the land cruiser about two hours after the accident.
The body of one of the victims was recovered in the morning from the riverside near Pavur village.
Rescue 1122 staff retrieved the bodies of Didar Uddin, Ejaz Wali and Sultan Khan and handed them over to their heirs.
