Taxi driver arrested over video clip

BOONI: A taxi driver from Raman village of Laspur has been arrested in connection with a viral video in which some youngsters are heard using indecent language against a female tourist.

The assistant commissioner of Mastuj had earlier ordered arrest of all those travelling in the taxi.
The driver of the taxi jeep was arrested in Mastuj on Thursday.
In the video clip first uploaded on Youtube by the tourist Maria Soomro five months ago, she is going from Booni to Gilgit via Shandur Pass by hitchhiking.

While boarding the jeep carrying a group of youngsters to Laspur near Booni from the rear side someone is heard using indecent language against her.

The video seems to be recorded in the summer of last year. –Sher Afgan
