Protest held against appointment of outsider as Class-IV

BANG: People of Bang have started a protest against the education department of Upper Chitral for appointing a resident of Mulkhow as a Class-IV in the government primary school Bang upper of Yarkhun union council.

The protesters said 22 years ago while acquiring land for the construction of the primary school, the education department in the presence of the elders of the village had promised that in lieu of the land the owner, Hassan Baig, would be given a job as Class-IV in the school.

After so many years, now the department has posted a young man from Terich as Class-IV in the school, depriving the landowner of his land as well as the job. 

The locals said they would continue their protest till the family of Hassan Baig is given the job as promised against their land. 

Led by former councillor Muhammad Ashraf, the protesters through a resolution asked the education department to resolve the issue instead of trying to use force.–Syed Nazir Hussain Shah

    It happens every time. Like few years back someone from Mulkow had been appointed class 4 in Power primary school With help of education superintendent Sadiq ullhah. The poor person from Power went to the court for many years but no one listened him. Because might is right and office administration was against him. This is the time so be united. And send back all non local class four staff from any department, like hospitals, schools etc. For class four there will have no competition and will find locals.
