Darul Amaan inaugurated

CHITRAL: A Darul Amaan has been opened to provide shelter to helpless women and children in Lower Chitral.

Work on the shelter house was completed by the social welfare department, police and the district administration.

The Darul Amaan was inaugurated by District Police Officer Sonia Shamroz and officials of the departments concerned on the International Women’s Day on March 8, 2021. 

It is for the first time that a Darul Amaan has been opened in Chitral.
