Young man injured in wolf attack
YARKHUN: A young man was injured after a hungry wolf attacked him in Pashk village of Yarkhun on Tuesday night, local people told ChitralToday.
They said Mir Fayaz, son of Mir Alam, was returning home from a neighbor’s house late at night when the wolf attacked him.
The youth shouted for help and resisted the beast but the wolf injured his right arm and damaged his fingers.
Local people rushed out and forced the wolf to flee.
The locals said the wolf also barged into the pen of Abdul Ghafar in the adjacent Shich village and killed a number of goats.

I hope the brave villagers would not avenge the poor animal in retaliation.
