Members want to make new press club functional

BOONI: At a meeting held with Muhammad Zakir Zakhmee in the chair, the members of Upper Chitral Press Club decided to make the club functional.

The establishment of the press club in the new district was announced about a year ago but so far it remains non-functional due to absence of facilities such as an office.

The participants of the meeting today stressed the need to make the press club functional by completing all its legal as well as infrastructural requirements. 

In this regard, all departments concerned and officials would be approached to expedite the process to make the press club functional, the participants added.
