ANP protests lack of basic facilities in Drosh

DROSH: The Awami National Party (ANP) held a rally against lack of basic facilities in Drosh such as absence of lady doctors at the only government hospital in the town.

Addressing the participants, ANP Chitral leaders including Eidul Hussain and Khadija Bibi said the THQ hospital has been without a lady doctor for over two years.

They said during the tenure of the ANP government in KP, a decision had been taken to set up the University of Chitral at Saeedabad near Drosh but now it the proposed site has been dropped for the project.

Moreover, PESCO was sending inflated bills to the consumers which should be stopped. 

The speakers said if the government failed to take steps for resolution of these issues the party would organize a sit-in in Drosh.
