Position holders in SSC exam awarded

CHITRAL: Position holders in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations were given awards and cash prizes at a function held at the District Council hall here.

The awards and prizes arranged by Qari Faizullah were distributed among the students by Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Hidayatur Rehman who was chief guest on the occasion. Principal of Govt Centennial Model High School Fida Muhammad chaired the function.

Shahi Masjid khateeb Molana Khaliquz Zaman said it was the eight ceremony to distribute awards among students arranged by Qari Faizullah.

A cash prizes of Rs50,000 was given to Muhammad Yasir of Govt Centennial Model High School Chitral for standing first among students of government schools by obtaining 991 marks. 

The second prize of Rs40,000 was handed over to Hanzila Saeed of Govt High School Ayun (978 marks) and Rs30,000 to Sajid Iqbal of Govt Centennial Model High School Chitral, who bagged 976 marks.

Among private schools, Laiba Hayat of the Langlands School and College (marks 1009), Farheen Faiza of the same school (marks 1005) and Urooj Alam of Qutiba Public School were given Rs50,000, Rs40,000 and Rs30,000 cash prizes, respectively. –Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
