Football kits distributed among youth of Drosh

CHITRAL: The Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) distributed football kits among young footballers of Drosh tehsil at a ceremony here, says a press release.

The event was attended by Prince Samirul Mulk, Coordinator Sports Coordination Committee, Engineer Behram Syed, LSO representatives and prominent youth social activists of the area.

Talking to the participants, SRSP’s representative Kamal Abdul Jamil said the sports kits were being distributed as a youth engagement activity under the PPAF-funded poverty reduction project. He said SRSP was implementing the PPR project in the union councils of Drosh I and II.

Earlier, the SRSP facilitated a polo festival and a volleyball tournament in Drosh, he added. 

Prince Samirul Mulk lauded the efforts of SRSP and thanked it for supporting youth engagement activities.

LSO representatives and youth social activists also thanked PPAF and SRSP, especially SRSP chief Executive Officer Masoodul Mulk for encouraging the youth and working for the socioeconomic development of Chitral.
