Six women among injured in accident

BREP: Nine people, including six women, were injured in a road accident near a bridge north of Brep on Thursday.

The accident occured when a wedding procession was going to Phashk village of Yarkhun from Chuinj.

Besides the six women, two children and the driver of a jeep were also injured.

Local people told ChitralToday that a Suzuki jeep carrying the nine people fell into a dry nullah while negotiating a turn in the hilly area north of Brep in front of Istach village.

The injured were brought to the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Brep and provided first aid and later shifted to Mastuj for treatment.

The injured have been identified as Alishba, 12, Naima, 10, daughters of Gulab Hussain of Phashk; Didar Bibi and her son, Shehla, daughter of Maqsood, Phashk village, driver Zahir Shah from Chuinj, Gulnar, 26, daughter of Hussaini of Phashk, Feroza and her 12 years old daughter.
