Six-room house gutted in fire

CHITRAL: Six rooms of a house in Broz Gumbad were gutted after a fire erupted there following a blast in a gas cylinder, Rescue 1122 said on Tuesday.

It said after being informed about the incident in the house of Qari Israr at 3:15pm, a firefighting team reached the spot and extinguished the flames in about half an hour.

According to the rescuers, household items were burnt inside the house but the flames were put out before it could spread to nearby premises.
