Survey begins to set up Kisan bazaar

CHITRAL: In order to provide vegetables and fruits to the citizens at reasonable rates, the government has started work to establish Kisan bazaars in the province.

The objective is to eliminate the role of the middlemen and facilitate the growers to sell their products to the consumers directly.

In this regard, the government will provide the farmers a space to sell vegetables and fruits.

This will help both the farmers and the consumers as currently the middlemen exploit both of them.

District administration officials visited Atalegh bus terminal to select a space where shelters will be set up for the Kisan bazaar.

The rent of the shelters will be paid by the government to ensure availability of vegetables and fruits at cheaper rates.–Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
