MoU to run two health units by private sector extended

PESHAWAR: The KP Health Foundation on Friday extended the operation of the rural health health centre (RHC) Mastuj and the tehsil headquarters hospital Garam Chashma by the private sector.

In this regard, District Health Officer (DHO) Chitral Dr Haiderul Mulk and Aga Khan Health Service’s regional head Merajuddin signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Peshawar in the presence of provincial health minister Taimur Salim Jhagra and others.

The two hospitals along with one health unit at Shagram were handed over to the NGO about six years ago under a public-private partnership basis.
