Fake intelligence agency official put behind bars

CHITRAL: A man was put behind bars by Chitral police for taking money from people claiming to be an official of an intelligence agency.

The police identified the suspect as Shajar Ali, son of Mir Akbar, a resident of Usht.

The police said the suspect allegedly received money from citizens promising to give them jobs in different organizations.

The police said a Fielder car has been recovered from the arrested man who is being interrogated further.

A case was registered against him under sections 417, 419, 420 of Pakistan penal Code (PPC), said the police in a social media post.
