ISLAMABAD: A teenage boy who went missing from his house in Alipur area of Islamabad on May 1 returned on Thursday, family sources told ChitralToday.
The boy told his family upon return that he was working in the fruit and vegetable market of Islamabad.
He later also told the police that he was working in Sabzi Mandi and loaded and unloaded fruits and vegetables. He said he lived in shelter houses and cabins in the fruit market.
Shehzad Town police had registered an FIR on May 2 about the disappearance of Hanif Aziz, 16, son of retired Subedar Aziz Khan, a native of Karimabad valley of Chitral.
According to the family sources, the boy disappeared from his home after his father scolded him over a minor issue.
Hectic efforts were made by the police and relatives of the child but the boy remained untraced.
