Three coronavirus cases reported from Upper Chitral

BOONI: Three coronavirus cases have been reported in Upper Chitral and one of them is said to be a local transmission, according to sources and results available with ChitralToday.

One of the three patients is the son of a 58-year-old man from Lonkoh Terich who had tested positive for the virus on April 28 after coming from outside Chitral.

A district administration official confirmed that the new patient from Lonkoh Terich had contracted the virus from his father.

Sources said the 58-year-old had returned from Peshawar on April 21 and after making an entry at the quarantine centre at Govt Degree College for Girls in Booni had gone home.
