Two houses gutted in fire at Ayun

AYUN: A fire destroyed two houses in the Darkhanan Deh locality of Ayun on Friday evening, local people told ChitralToday.

The fire erupted in a room due to electric short circuiting and engulfed the houses of Mudassir Shah of Chitral Scouts and his brother Intikhab Alam of Chitral police.

Local people could not save household items in the two houses from being burnt. The fire brigade office was informed but its vehicles could not reach Ayun from Chitral town on time.—Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
