PTI workers want filling of class IV jobs through balloting

CHITRAL: PTI youth wing presidents for Upper and Lower Chitral and other office-bearers have demanded that the vacant posts in the district health office and district headquarters hospital should be filled through balloting.

In a statement, Muhammad Haroon, Abuzar Ghafari and others said interviews have been conducted for the posts from Grade 1 to 4 but all candidates from Chitral feel that merit would not be followed and they would be deprived of their right to get a job.

As a result, they are compelled to use illegal means to get jobs, including giving bribe, they said.

The PTI activists said these posts should be filled through balloting as has been recently done by deputy speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in his constituency.

If this practice was not adopted, we will be compelled to move court along with the candidates for the posts, they warned.
