District Police Officer (DPO) Wasim Riaz Khan told a press conference on Saturday that the alleged killers had been hired by parents of the woman belonging to Dir-Kohistan for marrying the man from Izz village of Garam Chashma against their will.

Waqar Ahmed alias Shahinshah contracted love marriage with the Kohistan woman one year ago and brought her to her village.
