BOONI: Though roads have been in poor conditions due to nonrepair for years, the district administration considers that traffic accidents are increasing day by day either due to either underage driving or violation of traffic rules.
Therefore, in order to minimize/reduce such mishaps, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Upper Chitral Mr. Shah Saud, a campaign was launched during which action was taken against those driving vehicles without driving licence, overcharging, overloading and violating officially fixed fares.
It would have been much better if the government had launched action against poor roads and the government departments responsible for these.
