Langlands School staffers reiterate their demands

CHITRAL: Through a press release, Langlands Teachers Association (LTA) on Friday sought a decision acceptable to them by the provincial government, and regretted the decision of the  commissioner Malakand division backing a single individual against 64 staff members which ultimately affects studies in school.
The LTA reiterated its three demands.
“If Principal Carey Schofield’s return causes any unpleasant situation in the school, the provincial government and the district administration would be responsible for it.
“It is matter of great concern and entirely unacceptable for teachers and other staffs that without considering the demand of 64 staff members, parents and putting the studies of more students at stake, the government and commissioner Malakand Division have backed the single individual.”
The press release of LTA also says that the employees have already put forward their three demands to the concerned authorities and have set October 9 as the deadline for the next step.
“We still stand on our position and wait for the acceptance of our demands before the given deadline.”
