CHITRAL: Armed men are reported to have taken away 100 goats from the summer grazing ground of Jinjiret Koh.
Local people said shepherd Abdur Rehman had taken the goats of Munawar Khan and Tor Lali to the Sherasin mountain top when about 10 armed men reached there and took away the goats.
The shepherd suspected that the armed men had come from a neighbouring country to snatch the goats ahead of Eidul Azha.
The shepherd hid himself in a cave fearing he might be harmed by the gunmen if he resisted them.
Meanwhile, at least seven oxen have also disappeared from the border area of Bumburate valley but there is no detail about it.
