Surnai maestro Taleem Khan dies

CHITRAL: Prominent artist of Khowar music Taleem Khan passed away at the age of 78.

He was laid to rest in his ancestral village of Kuju on Monday.

Surnai maestro Taleem Khan was a household name and adorned mega private and official celebrations across Chitral.

A large number of people attended his funeral on Monday while Chitrali music lovers living everywhere paid him rich tributes for his role in promotion of Khowar music.–Muhkam Uddin Ayuni
