Maqsoodul Mulk elected president of tour operators’ association

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Association of Tour Operations (PATO) at its annual meeting held in Rawalpindi elected Shahzada Maqsood Ul Mulk as its new president.
Tour operators from all over Pakistan participated in the meeting. Mr Sadaruddin was elected as general secretary, Muhammad Umar as joint secretary, Khawaja Jehanzeb as vice president Sindh, Mohsin Paracha as vice president Balochistan, Assad Ali Shah as vice president KP, Tayyab Syed as vice president Punjab, Asghar Ali as vice president Gilgit-Baltistan, Malik Azmat Hussain as vice president Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
PATO said it will play an active role in the promotion of tourism in Pakistan in the emerging scenario where the federal government has taken a bold decision to make tourism an important segment of national economy.
