CHITRAL: A woman ended her life by jumping into the Chitral river on Saturday.
According to local people, the mother of three kids was a resident of Toren (upper) Mori.
Her body was later recovered from the riverside and shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Chitral by the police.
Relatives of the deceased woman told the police that she was mentally disturbed. Further investigation by the police is underway. This is the first case of suicide so far in 2019. Last year, nearly 50 people, mostly young women, killed themselves across Chitral.
