Two foreign hunters in Chitral for trophy hunting
CHITRAL: Two foreign hunters have arrived here in a helicopter for hunting a markhor and an ibex in the Toshi village conservatory.
According to Divisional Forest Officer (wildlife) Muhammad Hussain, the two foreign hunters have started a search for suitable preys.
Christopher from USA has a hunting trophy licence for a markhor and paid $92000 and Rs10,000 while Mr Stacky is from Switzerland and wants to hunt an ibex and has paid 145,000 rupees to obtain the licence.–GH Faooqui
