PESHAWAR: Unknown people murdered a student from Chitral in a hostel here on Saturday, police said.
Mehrab Nabi, a native of Kushum village in Mulkhow, was a student of Govt College Peshawar. He also used to teach at a private college.
A group of people from Chitral, led by MNA Molana Abdul Akbar Chitrali, held a protest along with the dead body and demanded immediate arrest of the killers.
