Nigahbans continue protest for release of unpaid salaries

BOONI: A large number of Nigahbans from different parts of Mastuj subdivision continued their protest on the third consecutive day here on Wednesday demanding payment of their 14 months’ stuck up salaries.

The protesters also held a rally and chanted slogans for the acceptance of their demand. Despite biting cold weather, the Nigahbans were not ready to end their protest unless their salaries are released.

However, so far there seems no progress made by the forest and wildlife departments to resolve the issue.
