Nigahbans restart protest for withheld salaries

BOONI: Nigahbans hired by the forest and wildlife departments restarted their protest and held a rally here on Monday demanding payment of their salaries unpaid for over 14 months.

They said despite repeated demands and protests the departments promised to clear the dues but never kept their words.

They said if the salaries were not paid to them, they would move to Chitral along with their families and stage a hunger strike in front of the DC office.
