Karimabad road blocked after landslide

CHITRAL: The road to Karimabad valley has been closed after landslide at Hinjeel on Friday, a local government elected representative said.

Mr Mohammad Ali told this correspondent on phone today that debris and boulders have spread over 1.5 km of the road but so far the Communication and Works (C&W) department has not moved to remove and reopen the road. As a result, people of Karimabad, Susum and other areas are totally cut off, he added. –GH Farooqui
