New CM seeks report on flood destruction in Chitral

PESHAWAR: New Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan has directed the district administration Chitral to immediately submit a comprehensive and complete report on losses of lives and property due to flood since 2015.

Mr Khan directed the concerned officers to conduct a detailed survey and identify the losses. He directed to prepare an overall recovery plan in order to compensate the flood victims.

It may be noted that soon after Mr Khan took over charge of office, flood-hit people of Chitral appealed to him to help them in their rehabilitation.
